Excellent place to stay when in Houma! Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. So far, in the last 20 years...this has been the best place we've stayed when coming back home for visits! I highly recommend. This is the best place to stay when in Houma.
Very clean, quiet, and homely hotel. The receptionists are some of the nicest people ever. Excellent service and very accommodating. I stayed here during a business trip with my partner. Lots of nearby restaurants, shops, and more.
This place is wonderful. Enrollees is soup kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying. It's being updated as well. My updated room was perfect!
Great place to stay. Rooms are big with a kitchen and a desk if you have to cook or work from your room. Full sized fridge.
I stayed with Candlewood Suites on 3/18/24 through 3/19/24. The location for me was perfect with my travel to my job. It was also great with access to local restaurants, shopping, and other places I needed to visit. The rooms were clean, air conditioning was really good which is important to me... the greatest thing I noticed was the staff and their willingness to attend to my needs! It was a ton of where,what, and how do I get there? They was very friendly. Brought me towels, checked on me and made sure I had everything I needed. Chelsea even called my room to let me know availability to the outside cooking area! She went out of her way and let me know when it was available so I didn make trips up and down the elevators. I didn catch everyone's names but... Chelsea,Kim, and Jessica were some I can remember... but everyone of the staff were very friendly and it made me more comfortable in my stay!!! I loved it!!! I WILL be staying again!!! Thank you Candlewood Suites!!!
Checked in yesterday. Lobby was clean. They still had the Christmas tree down. But that didn’t bother me.our room is nice and spacious and clean. No funky smells. So that was nice. Room had a lil dust on the table and needed to be vacuumed. But over all it’s a nice hotel.
Amazing staff and awesome rooms! They will be my first choice in hotels from now on. Especially since so many things are close by, and they (unlike so many other hotels) were discrete about the room number and personal info needed to check in. As a single woman that travels for work, this is incredibly important and I commend the team for the attention to safety.
This has become my go-to hotel when I'm in town. The price is reasonable when you are traveling with the family. We were able to get 2 rooms and not break the bank. It is also in a really good location. It put us right in the middle of the shopping/events and family. Everything we had planned was less than a 5 minute drive from the hotel.
